Tour of Peter the Great's sea fortress on Naissaar

Add to Favourites Your favourite!

Come on a trip of discovery! Naissaar with its fascinating history and virgin nature awaits!

The tour includes a round trip on a boat from Tallinn to Naissaar and a guided tour on trucks.

In the park of the Peter the Great's sea fortress, there are two artillery batteries (10A and 10B) and catacombs. These offer the enthusiasts a truly exciting military experience!

Tsar Nicholas II ordered the construction of the sea fortress in order to close the naval routes of Tallinn and to defend the Gulf of Finland.

A tour guide provides an overview of the history of Naissaar and points out military objects that an ordinary visitor would usually overlook, as well as answers all your questions. More information is available here.
