Masterpieces of Soviet Architecture

Add to Favourites Your favourite!

Architecture from the second half of the twentieth century has shaped the city centre of Tallinn and the Pirita district significantly. Many mighty buildings in Pirita were constructed for the1980 Moscow Olympics, during which the sailing regatta took place in Tallinn.

The tour revisits the Soviet legacy and will take you to see the finest and most interesting examples of Soviet architecture across Tallinn, from buildings erected for Soviet power structures to large-scale memorials exhibiting the best landscape architecture of the period.
