Estonian Folk Art and Craft Union
Folk traditions are an absolutely crucial part of the Estonian national identity and learning about them first hand is a great way to get in touch with the local culture. The Estonian Folk Art and Craft Union, whose mission it is to preserve these traditions, offers short craftmaking courses of up to 2 hours in needle felting, woodblock printing, national beaded necklaces and cotton fabric necklaces. Day-long courses in Muhu embroidery and Seto lace are available for those who already have some basic knowledge.
